"This hotel is in serious need of updates and a thorough deep cleaning. We booked four rooms for a birthday trip, and the experience was disappointing from the start. One of our rooms went three days without their bathroom being cleaned, which forced us to share showers. I even had to go to Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies and clean myself.
Safety was also a concern. On Saturday night, we heard someone attempting to get into our room, which was very unsettling. By the end of the stay, we were completely fed up.
When checking out on Monday, we spoke with another guest who shared that his watch and wallet had been stolen from his room—even with a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, just like ours. It honestly made us feel like someone may have been trying to access our room as well but left once they realized we were inside.
From the outside, the property looks appealing, especially with the pool and hot tub, but the rooms do not match that impression. One group in our party was placed in a handicap-accessible room because everything else was sold out, despite us booking three months in advance and requesting connecting rooms. None of our rooms were connected, which was frustrating.
Overall, the quality of the rooms did not justify the price. While the location is convenient, I would choose a different hotel next time—likely the Hyatt."
