"The staff was amazing! The hotel was incredibly clean and the breakfast area was so cool! Yogurt out of a spigot (not the frozen kind like ice cream, actual yogurt) and you could pour pancake batter in a machine and it spits out pancakes! And I’m not confusing it with the waffle machine! The pool was cute and the fitness area had a Peleton. A PELETON!!! As far as the staff, it was pouring down rain when I brought our luggage in and I was soaked. The girl working at the front desk brought me a towel and helped us get our luggage upstairs—she didn’t have to do that. That’s going above and beyond! Another staff member gave me some good real estate tips too! Bottom line: I loved this hotel and would stay again. Highly recommend!"

"Hyatt Place at San Destin is a great alternative from the big resort style locations. Their customer service and hospitality were far superior to other places in the area. Our room was clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast included a variety of hot/cold options for all ages. The hotel also has a happy hour from 5-7, that includes great food & drink options at $4-$6. The hotel is in a great location: close to outlets, beaches, and restaurants. I will definitely recommend Hyatt Place."

"The staff name Jaime was always making sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of. The only thing was the air conditioner was a little loud but besides that everything was great."

"Disappointed that it was so dirty. My ac also didn’t cool much. Overall just not a clean facility. You get what you pay for. They also mistakenly took my bag of white laundry I had just washed. I guess they assumed it was their white towels. So not cool having to go argue about your personal belongings being taken. They were later retuned but I’m not sure why they would just grab a bag that wasn’t theirs. Won’t be staying here again."

"Sheets were rough and scratchy. Lights and fans were not functioning. Housekeeping never came. Heavy wear visible on all finishes through out hotel. Chairs and benches in the dining area are cracked and peeling. Happy hour and snacks that they promote as a perk is a bowl of pretzels that they fill once. Gym equipment is minimal and treadmill is wobbly. Only one desk agent for check in and check out so a lot of waiting. It’s basically just a place to sleep near the beach. Could have paid less at a number of other places but usually this brand is nice. Save your money and stay elsewhere"
