"The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the location was great, within walking distance to restaurants, to shopping, and to Publix to buy our 12-pk sodas and bottles of wine for our Carnival cruise. The hotel also offers a cruise shuttle for $12 per person, which we utilized, and it was very convenient. Staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Make-your-own-waffles are always a hit for our family! The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 was because their 2 elevators are so small and ridiculously slow relative to the size of the hotel! They need alot more than 2 to accommodate a hotel with this many floors! We almost missed our cruise shuttle reservation due to trying to get on an elevator. We were on the 8th floor and couldn’t take the stairs because of our luggage and some mobility issues within our group. We waited and watched the elevator doors open and close over and over again for at least 30 minutes because they were packed full of people and luggage. We finally pushed the Up button and just rode it up then down, stopping on all floors and watching the doors open to frustrated faces of people who couldn’t fit on. If you are cruising and using their shuttle, take your bags to the lobby as early as possible to avoid the elevator backlog. I would definitely stay here again, but I will eat earlier and check out asap if cruising."
