"Overall, it was a great stay. My only complaint was the check in. The agent was occupied with a customer making a phone reservation so we waited 20 minutes for her to finish, even though we had a prepaid reservation. The facility was clean. The breakfast was decently stocked with good variety of items and the room was very comfortable and quiet. "

"We loved our stay at the Ellijay Inn! We got room 27 (single king bed) and had a wonderful visit. The room was cozy and the bed was so comfortable. Linens were crisp and clean. The bathroom, as others have noted, is snug, but clean with good water pressure in the shower. The room included a mini fridge with separate freezer, coffeemaker, and microwave. Ice machine is just outside in the parking lot. The owners were helpful in giving us maps to the town and recommending local restaurants. The grounds are clean, tidy, and streamlined. After carefully reviewing local reviews, it’s important to note that this is is a motel, not a major franchised hotel like hilton. This is a locally owned, personally managed motel, and it is clear that the owners take great pride in a clean and comfortable stay. We slept soundly and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. They were available for any issues we had, and luckily we did not have any to speak of. We camp and stay in/near Ellijay often and Ellijay Inn will most definitely be a place we return to in the future. Can’t wait to come back! "
