Clean room, friendly/supportive staff and proximity. Minuses: pool closed on site (I learned about it at check in, however I may have missed something), no microwave in the room nor on each floor for accessibility (at least 1 on each floor would help) and I had to request housekeeping. This host cancelled our prepaid checked in stay as we were pulling up to the location at the very last possible minute. This after driving for 8 hours from out of state through a snowstorm. We only discovered the cancellation after visiting with hotels.com rep. No email or text saying what or why. ...
