"Great location near lakes and hiking. The room was dated but very clean . Would have liked a dresser in the room for clothes and a blackout shade or curtain in the window. We stayed for 2 nights and watched the 4th of July parade from their lovely deck. Would recommend to couples and families."

"I was skeptical that a low-priced two-star hotel would meet my standards, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great value with friendly management. I wish they had better signage because I drove past it the first time and cellular internet was sparce, but that's the worst thing I can say. Great comfortable rooms!"

"Beautiful room right on the river. Slept with the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the river. Basic room - Very clean, modern room. Will definitely return, especially in the winter when it snows. If you come in the summer, bring an inner tube to cruise down the lake. Highly recommend for a basic, inexpensive alternative to South Lake, which is only 30 min away."

"Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues."
