"After a bumpy start at another hotel that was not wheelchair accessible, we checked in at the Hamburg Marriott Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They set us up with a nice and quiet room and provided parking right out front to ensure we could access our vehicle when we needed it. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but had drinks at the piano bar. It was very relaxing and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend a stay at this location. It is walking (or wheelchair) distance to all the main things you want to see in the Hamburg city center. I will definitely book here first when we go back. "

"Abend um 10 stand auf einmal eine Frau bei mir immer Zimmer und sagte mir, dass dies Ihr Zimmer sei. Zum Glück war ich schon im Bett gelegen und stand nicht unter der Dusche. Am nächsten Tag teilte mir die Rezeption mit als meine Zimmerkarte nicht funktionierte das ich ein anderes Zimmer hätte. Haben trotzdem den Zugang trotzdem wieder erhalten."

"This was an interesting new type of hotel stay for us. My mother grew up in Altona in the 50s after the war. I hadn’t been to Hamburg in about 20 years so we decided to visit pre-Christmas for the markets (way too crowded and difficult public transportation during it). The room was well equipped with a refrigerator, induction cooktop, convection oven, deep well sink as well as cookware and utensils. It was relatively quiet and situated. Typical German hard mattress and too many smokers outside every door. I couldn’t live in a city like this, but an occasional visit should only take a few days off my life. "
