Hidden Gem

All the comforts you could ask for beside a beautiful and secluded tropical Pacific Ocean beach that stretches for kilometers in each direction. Get here before it's discovered. And being your board or tent one here. Great place to learn to surf.

Great place to surf and relax

A different kind of living in tents, not any less worth than a cabana or similar. Great waves, the best surfing spot we have tried among several in Nicaragua. Roberto, the owner, is very welcoming and a good host. Great value for the price. A bit off from everything (as many places in Nica are) but definitely worth the drive.

Beautiful glamping spot on a near deserted beach

My husband and I stayed two nights at Tapas and Surf. The tents are well done and nicely decorated with comfy mattresses, mosquito nets, and great bath towels. Beach towels are provided two. I would have appreciated if cleaning staff would have come in to remake the bed and sweep the sand from the floors. This was a detail that was completely missed. At a hostel this would fly, but not at a resort. This was only a minor nuisance. The wifi works at the restaurant, but not in the rooms.... which this hotel is pretty remote, so the fact that they even have wifi is great. The restaurant serves mostly meat and seafood dishes. Very few vegetables and definitely not vegetarian/vegan friendly. I would recommend that they add some veggie dishes to the menu. Prices are US prices, so expect to pay US rates. Beers are cheap and ice cold! Overall I would recommend this hotel to those that want to get away and have a beach almost all to themselves.

Fridfullt, fräscht och perfekt surf.

Första gången jag och maken provat på glamping (glamourös camping). Gör gärna om det. Mycket fräscht. Inte en massa smådjur som man kan tro. Avslappnat, god mat, perfekt nybörjar och intermediate surf på stranden, SUP bräda ingår för att paddla upp på smala floden och titta på fåglar. Trevlig personal som pratar både spanska och engelska. Vi skulle stanna tre nätter men stannade en vecka. Vi rekommenderar det varmt och kommer själva gärna tillbaka.

Hidden gem- glamping on the beach!

Although hard to find especially in the dark, getting here was worth it. Awesome staff, Rafael, Carlos and Lisette are the best. Cute little cabins right on the beach. Get here before they get too popular and up the price!!!
