"(Hostel in Portbou) A basic hostel. 3/5. The room was quite tidy. There were hairs in the shared wc+shower, otherwise quite tidy. The beds were ok (springmadrass), the beddings were quite sheer and had quite strong smell (due to washing powder?). The walls let through all noises from outside and other rooms. The room&house had a stale smell. The receptionists spoke rather good english. The breakfast included 2 toasts, croissant and warm drink."

"Stayed for two nights while visiting Cadaques, Llanca, and Port de Selva. Great location to explore all these areas. Positives: - Great location. Quiet and lovely - Wonderful breakfast provided - Friendly staff, particularly David who was most helpful - short drive to all three locations above. - Medieval feel as the rooms are attached to a winery. The building is very old. Negatives: - Bed was quite firm, common in Europe. "
