El Palmeral-Urbanova-Tabarca hotel rooms a the Independent

"The Superior Double room was very spacious and very clean. Staff were amazing and very helpful. There is parking but we did not use this as the hotel location is right on the main promenade and easy walking to the marina, beach and main town, with the Ramblas Road in east reach. Various squares with restaurants also in walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel was the only area where not excellent but it is sufficient with continental breakfast and a hot breakfast combo. "

"Stayed for 3nts in a double room. Great location, perfect for exploring the city centre on foot, and only two minutes from Luceros tram stop and a bus stop if you want to explore further. Rooms were spacious and clean, with a decent sized bathroom and balcony. We had a double room, so no kitchenette or mini fridge in ours, but there are studios and one bedroom apartments available if you want them. We were on the 1st floor but if you're higher up, I would expect you'd have great views over the city too. It was great value too. We would return."

"Good value for money pretty central but not very clean, extremely noisy with banging doors and loud voices everywhere. Grumpy reception staff. No aircon, no fridge not much anyway.. massive hole in wardrobe and toilet sealing like it was about to collapse. But we didn’t stay at all inside just for a night sleep so for us cost was the most important bit"

"There was no air conditioning allowed in our room and most of the hotel and there was maintenance work going on around the hotel we were not informed about prior to our stay."

"A fabulous hotel with immaculate decor. My room was very clean, with everything I needed, including a mini fridge. It's only a short taxi ride to/from the airport but a shuttle service would be even more convenient."

"Although the hotel is only a short distance from the airport, it is not in the flight path so days spent by the rooftop pool are blissfully quiet. The hotel is very well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. All members of staff are charming, helpful and extremely welcoming. The rooms are lovely with fully equipped bathrooms and spacious balconies."

"The hotel’s location is fair. If you want to go to the beach, it takes about a 15–20 minute walk. The breakfast is good, with a nice selection of food. The room and bed are comfortable, making the stay pleasant overall."

"Internet is not super fast, especially during evenings when I guess no one is using it. Staff is really based in the other Ibis hotel just beside this one. Room was clean but old as the wood paneling on the floor only room was peeling off at parts and the paint is wearing thin on others. The big disadvantage is the location as there are no nearby (walkable) shops or grocery stores although there is a bus that goes to the Alicante city center (Google either gets the schedule wrong or the buses are always late)."
