Karuna El Nido Villas

"Don’t judge a place by its reception area! Karuna ended up being one of our absolute favorite honeymoon stays. We had a slight check-in mix-up (we were given villa J1 instead of the higher J2 we booked via Expedia), but J1 was still beautiful with a gorgeous view. The room was spacious and well-laid out. Because of the open, tropical bathroom design, you might get visits from harmless little frogs or lizards. We actually befriended a tiny frog on our shower floor! If you’re squeamish, the staff will happily come remove them for you. The amenities are top-notch. The infinity pool offers spectacular views, and their WhatsApp messaging system made communication seamless. Don't skip the onsite restaurant—they serve some of the best pizza we've ever had in the Philippines, and room service is free! Just make sure you ask what the wait time will be for room service as sometimes it was 15 minutes and other times it was over 1 hour wait. Breakfast was included and freshly made to order which was amazing every morning. Location-wise, it's a peaceful retreat outside downtown. They offer a free scheduled shuttle to town, or they’ll drive you to the base of the hill to grab a local trike. Pro-Tip: For a change of scenery, take the shuttle to the bottom of the hill and walk to Sunset Lion Restaurant for an amazing dinner view. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!"
H Hotel El Nido - Vegan Friendly Hotel

"The Hotel is very well located. Staff were excellent. The hotel just felt dirty front windows on entry all dirty same roof top bar same hotel room. We had the presidential suite this name had been plucked out of the air as the furnishings and bathroom were anything other than luxury cheap bed line. Flooring in room all chipped. No phone to call reception. No cold water bottles. Score 3/5. Maximum. However if you want to be in the heart of night life best there was sadly. I repeat staff amazing"
Glamping at Karuna El Nido

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Glamping at Karuna El Nido. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere away from the busy town center. The safari-style lodge itself was spacious, comfortable, and definitely a unique experience. However, we did notice that quite a lot of elements were made from plastic materials, which unfortunately reduced the authentic safari-lodge feel. It still offered however, a cozy and enjoyable stay overall with incredible views. The staff were wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really added to the overall experience and made us feel very well taken care of during our stay. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with delicious food and great presentation. The only small disappointment was the lack of fresh juice offered at breakfast, especially compared to many other places we stayed. The atmosphere around the property was peaceful and inviting, and we particularly appreciated the quiet surroundings and stunning views, which made the glamping experience very memorable. Overall, Glamping at Karuna El Nido is a great option for travelers looking for something different and close to nature while still enjoying comfort and good service. We had a lovely time and would happily recommend it to others visiting El Nido. "

"Fantastic location and all staff were friendly. Fantastic service. Slight hiccup with our room on the first day, however Lucus was fantastic dealing with it and it was resolved prompt. Janne, Mary, Marian (and one other lady, who joined us on the cruise, apologies forgot name) were welcoming, professional, friendly and very informative. Answered every question with the highest professionalism. Lover was outstanding customer service. Valuable asset to the team! Anna, Kelvin, Steven Angel and Ethan, brilliant! Honestly, special mention to Anna and Kelvin, the remembered my orders perfectly. Angel sunset cruise guide, Zandro boat captain, Jules sunset cruise guide all fantastic on the sunset cruise. Location is fantastic and food delicious. Pool incredible. All staff who I came in contact with made the trip special. "
