"My family of 6 (grandma, two adults and 3 teens ages 15-20) had a blast! The room was clean, mini fridge was stocked with sodas and waters. We don’t drink so we asked to remove the beer and give us more soda. The people in charge of entertainment were FANTASTIC! High energy and lots of fun! The food was good for an all inclusive. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was that there were only Pepsi products. I need my Coke Zero!! Other than that, the hotel was clean, friendly staff, good pools, fantastic atmosphere!"

"PROS: Our first-week-of-July stay was amazing and beautifully uncrowded. While the resort gets busy when North American temperatures dip, our 4-day trip was serene. We had excellent a la carte dinners at the Steakhouse, Kyoto, and Krystal, plus great breakfast and lunch buffets at the Peninsula. We never waited for a table. We did not try the pool dining or sports bar. We learned that during peak season, upgrading to an Elite Club (EC) rooms is highly recommended to replicate this "off-season" ease. EC guests get exclusive perks such as dedicated restaurant, private cafe and bar, designated beach space, and the sole privilege of making a la carte reservations--a wait staff mentioned that wait time can be more than two hours during peak season. The grounds are pristine, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. CONS: The mattress in our suite has seen better days--it's time to replace it RIU! Also, check-in front desk service needs improvement. The agent failed to explain the strict departure policy. We were not told until checkout that a staff member must physically inspect the room before you get a check out slip for the doorman. Because of this lack of information, our Uber driver was left waiting outside while we were stuck waiting for the room inspection to finish. Clearer communication at check-in would have prevented a lot of unnecessary tress at departure. 4 stars overall."
