"We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad for 6 nights. The dining and cafe were great and the room spacious and clean. The staff were also professional and friendly. Only two drawbacks were: that the windows were in need of a wash, which detracted from otherwise beautiful view; and the in-room toilet closet had a glass door that, while stylish, hampered privacy a wee bit."

"Wish I booked elsewhere. Not sure about the overall ratings Expedia shows for this place. Check-in: Waited 10 minutes or more. Cost is unrefundable. Needed a 2nd night stay without knowing the dread. Re-entry into hotel was controlled by a button at the check-in counter but staff were hardly there. Value: Not worth it. Paid more for 2nd night. No coffee/tea, no shampoo/conditioner. Smelly towels. Uncomfortable bed, half of it was sunken. Staff: Unfriendly/uncomfortable/awkward. Cleanliness: Room was clean, toilet wasn’t, towels smelled when wet. Parking: Only 4 park spaces. Blocking in someone may be required, but only after confirming with staff. "
