Good size room, nice communal area to sit and enjoy your meals
Perfect, rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the only reason to be at el Chalten is for hiking, and this hotel is just perfect to get ready and recharge

Clean room, great environment.
The staff the best. Paula, Brian and Sandro made our stay amazing.
Staff was great and everything was very clean. However, hallway noise carries into the rooms and there are no TVs. Fortunately, the internet was fixed after our first day because it really sucked before that like many reviews mentioned.
We loved this hotel! The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive! The views from the lounge are breathtaking. The back patio area is quiet and peaceful with views of the mountains. It’s also close to the trails, shopping and restaurants!
Lovely hotel, very conveniently located, especially for the Laguna de los tres and good bars and restaurants. Great very hot showers, perfect after a trek, and nice breakfast. Staff were also very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again next time!

Room was very simple but overall clean. The dining area and common area were nice. They had a nice outside seating area, but it was difficult to get to, as the door was locked and you had to walk around the building. The toilet did not flush well And took a very long time to fill the tank to flush again. The staff is very nice and helpful. I like that they would fill your water bottles with filtered water if you left them on the front desk. That was a very nice service. Breakfast seemed to be the standard breakfast at mini hotels in the area. Salami, deli, ham, cheese, yogurt/Kiefer, cereal, mixed fruit salad, various breads and pastries. They did have hard boiled eggs, but they were shredded, not whole.

The hotel is in the center of town, close to Everything. The staff is super helpful, including being able to give excellent advice for hiking options.
The breakfast is amazing, buffet style, including meats, cheeses, vegetables, a fresh fruit salad, deserts, coffee teas, everything!
The rooms are fairly simple but convenient.
This was such a good place to stay especially with proximity to the hikes around town.
A shout out to staff for keeping things comfortable during a power outage and also looking after my belongs on my last day when i wanted one last hike.
Service was top notch. Breakfast was appropriate and plentiful. Very close to center of town restaurants/bars/shops and walking distance to all hiking. Didn’t stay in the room much but water was hot, pressure good, bed comfortable. Not super fancy but a definite step up from basic.
Room was quiet, clean, comfortable and a decent size. Staff were very helpful and took care of requests promptly. Close to hiking trails, restaurants and bus terminal. Great breakfast spread and spacious dining area. Takeaway lunch options available. Wifi in common area only.
Breakfast was very good, loved the fruit salad. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Common area was a nice space to gather, especially as the weather was really challenging. Good wifi in the common areas but none in the rooms. Would have liked wifi in the room for video calls to family at home, but, otherwise it was fine. They offer box lunches for hikers. Lots of good restaurants close by. Close to hiking trails.

Staff was great. Check out time to early. Doorknob not tight.
The hotel needs some serious updating. There is no AC in the rooms. The rooms are very outdated and the bed was not comfortable. The pillows were just straight up foam. The bathroom was also pretty outdated. I should mention that we stayed in the summer (December) and it was SOOOO hot, even at night and so the lack of AC and uncomfortable bed and pillows really impacted our stay. Additionally, we paid around $1,200 to stay for 4 nights. A hotel that wants to charge this much should have rooms in better condition. The hotel I will say is located in a great area of time and everything is walkable.
Everything was really clean, very cozy, and perfect location

The location is great, the staff is lovely and always trying to help and the breakfast is ok, you will not leave hungry. It is a hostel with minimal services and amenities; you’ll get a clean bed (terrible pillow) and a functional shower. That it. If your goal is hiking the area all day and have a place to sleep by night it might work for you.
I didn’t check other locations in town, it might be the standard in El Chalten, nevertheless, it’s a small pay for visiting such a beautiful part of the world.
