"This is a really excellent hotel. It has a beautiful, old style and there has been a lot of attention to detail. The food is absolutely outstanding, the staff is excellent, and the views of the mountains over the lake are unforgettable. Price was very very reasonable. The only negative is that the Wi-Fi is pretty poor, but I suspect that has more to do with where it's located. than anything the hotel has control over. I would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"These apartments are beautifully decorated and cozy. We were three people and the set-up was perfect for us. I do wish there was more seating in the living room area but we were only in town for one night and it was fine. It is located a short walk from the main street with all the restaurants and shops or you could walk in the opposite direction towards the lake and park. It is in a great location and central to attractions. Staff were great and let us store our luggage after check out since...

"Hotel Amigo del Mundo was just what I needed in El Calafate. Close to downtown and to the bus - walking distance from everything. Economical, clean, comfortable, quiet. The breakfast was nice and complete. I would definitely stay there again."
