"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. "Wonderful cabin! This cabin is so cute and well designed. Also the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! We would have loved to bring in some fresh air and sit outside on the cabin’s deck!"

"This is a modern and lovely place. Don’t be alarmed that hot tub is empty when you arrive. A switch turns it on and it fills up in about an hour. It’s lovely. No sulfur smell. We witnessed our first northern lights at this cabin so it will be memorable for sure. Heated bathroom floors are a nice touch. Would highly recommend. "
