"Although this location is very close to the cruise docks and train station, I would not recommend staying at this location The rooms very dirty and the hall light entering the doorway was burnt out and when talked to the front desk he just shrugged it off. The towels were very old and the whole hotel was outdated and in a need of a face lift They attempted to charge us for parking when we did not have a vehicle. I would recommend choosing another location in this beautiful little town"

Currently there is extensive work on the adjoining Castle Rheinfels, but this was not disruptive to the hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant with fabulous views of the Rhine. Front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. "
