"Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Bett war frisch und sauber überzogen. Das Gebäude und entsprechend auch die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen (muss nicht schlecht sein). Die Zimmer sind dadurch hellhörig und man hört wenn im Flur draußen Leute vorbeilaufen; der Fußboden knarzt. Es gibt keine Rolläden oder Verdunklungsvorhänge. Frühstück war nicht angeboten/möglich. "Very welcoming staff. It is a small hotel with a homey feel. I checked out and after roaming around the town a bit realized I had no place to go until my colleague returned with the rental car. I went back to them and they were more than happy to let me "hang out" in the restaurant area until I had a place to go. They even served me a beverage even though it was early in the day and the restaurant had not opened. I enjoyed my stay. They went above and beyond in making my stay pleasant."

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving.
