The hotel is a very typical German country hotel, immaculately clean with nice staff and comfortable rooms and a slight 'furnished in the 70s' feel, but in a nice way. "We had a lovely stay - the room was perfectly appointed with a comfortable bed and mini kitchen. We spent every evening drinking the winery’s excellent whites out on our balcony with a view of the hills just beyond the little town’s steeple. The proprietors were wonderful. They made us feel comfortable and welcome with our very limited German, and breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable every morning. "

"The room was very clean in the bathroom was large, which is always nice. We had a supreme double room and appreciated having a larger area. It was also very quiet for being as close to the train and being in the city center. The breakfast buffet was very nice and I thought very reasonable in price. I loved that this is an old hotel but it has been very well maintained. "
