"For what seems like a fairly new hotel, it already feels a little clapboard. Nothing was bad enough to be a deal breaker, but there were a lot of little things that made it feel more like a 2- or 3-star hotel. The black tiles in the shower were whitened with limescale, the white grout on the floor was super dirty, and the walls had a lot of scuffs and marks and goops. That said, the staff were super friendly. The kitchen in the room was really handy, and the couch and bed were both adequate. The “free breakfast” is really just a $10 coupon for Denny’s, which was a little disappointing. It wouldn’t be my first choice next time I’m in Edmonton, but it was perfectly fine for a few days."
