Start the day right

Our stay was brilliant . Looked after by Mirella . We had a comfortable room with the best breakfast ever tasted in any hotel . Beside all the cereals , home made Scottish porridge and bowls of fresh fruit . There was a menu listing everything . From smoked salmon to a full Scottish breakfast . This contained 2 eggs , 2 rashers bacon , sausage , tomato , mushrooms , black pudding , haggis , tatties , toast , and a bowl of beans . fruit juice , coffee . All made by Mirella's father . Our room contained tea and coffee facilities, with Scottish biscuits and chocolates left by Mirella each day . The bathroom had a full selection of toiletries . Nothing was too much for this super host .

Very Nice B&B with great breakfast and lovely host

Stayed for three nights in a twin room. Mirella is an excellent host, very chatty and very welcoming. She tries so very hard to make sure your stay is perfect. The room was very clean and plenty of hot water in the shower.Clean towels every day. Tea and coffee making facilities along with a small fridge are provided.Mirella gave us a jug of fresh milk to keep in the fridge for our daily brews. Mirella's dad comes each day to make breakfast and it is superb.The best fresh fruit salad , freshly squeezed orange juice and even his home made jam. What a treat. The choice of cooked breakfast and its presentation are great. I really liked the location of the accomodation as it was an easy 20 minute walk up to the city centre and an easy 30 min walk downhill to Leith and the Royal yacht. There are lots of very nice restaurants on leith Walk within a few minutes walk.

A warm, comfortable and spacious room with lovely décor and good quality furniture. Mirella and her Dad are great hosts and the breakfasts are superb. Close enough to town but away from the hustle and bustle. 10 mins from the tram line and 15 minutes from Princes Street.

Location was fantastic...short walk to St.Andrews tram station (tram from airport). Great great fish and chips Eatalia) and grocery store (Tesco). Mirella the owner was very friendly and helpful. Great start to our trip!

Bonnie’s Guest House is beautifully located on a quiet street near neighborhood restaurants and grocery stores, all adjacent to major transit and only a short walk from the Waverley Station. The beds are comfortable and the huge and varied breakfast is served by the owner with an abundance of hospitality. We stayed here for the first few days of the Fringe and found it the perfect spot to be close to everything but outside the crush. Great WiFi.

So close to Princes St. Mirella was very accommodating to my need for early breakfast. Maps, free phone to call a taxi, small refrigerator in the room, FRESH fruit included in my breakfast, VERY clean. The best was ground floor room and bathroom en suite. Lots of unexpected amenities. Terrific place to stay in Edinburgh.

Wonderful Stay

The inn keeper at Bonnie’s is a delight. The breakfast is quite good and you are very close to tram to the airport. It is about a mile into the city center, but I found the walk very pleasant

Unfortunately I did not end up staying at Bonnie's Guest House due to a change in my flight schedule. However, I have nothing but good to say about this place. When I realized that my fight was changed and that I would not be using my reservation at Bonnie's , my insurance plan contacted Bonnie's Guest House and even though the date for free cancellation had passed, the management agreed that they would refund my money should they be able to rent out the room to another guest. Although they were not able to rent out the room, I feel that it was a very kind gesture on their part to make such an offer - as it clearly stated the cut off date for free cancellations. I would not hesitate to book this accommodation again in future.

Unser Zimmer war ein sehr süßer kleiner Raum. Dennoch fehlte es uns an nichts. Sogar an Steckdosen für den europäischen sowie amerikanischen Raum wurden gedacht. Leider funktionierte das Wlan für uns nicht. Da wir nur eine Nacht in Edinburgh geblieben sind störte uns das nicht weiter. Auf Nachfrage wäre sich auch sicherlich gekümmert worden.

Great original looking property, felt safe and secure at all times. It is a 15 minute walk up hill into the centre of Edinburgh but plenty of taxis and buses are available
