Ebergassing hotel rooms a the Leonardo Hotels

"Beware- after many times in Vienna this is by far the worst place we’ve stayed. While the building is cool, it’s not located in the best area, across from the train station. The hotel gave the feeling of a discounted cruise line. The breakfast was subpar and vegetarian. 32 euro for breakfast was a joke. The staff was just straight up rude. We were given a room on the first floor, just above the reception. The elevator would not stop on our floor so we were told to take the stairs through the back of the house, kicking through towels just to make it up to our floor. We were interrupted twice during breakfast accused of not paying. We were followed outside of the building after we checked out online and leaving our keys at the desk, accused of not checking out. Everything about this hotel experience was aweful. Thankfully, we know Vienna a bit better and know this hotel is not a reflection of what the wonderful city has to offer. "

"Our 1st room smelt strongly of sewage. Management was very quick to respond & moved us to the other side of the building. The second room smelt better. We noticed there was a mild scent of sewage in the lobby. The staff was incredibly helpful, responsive & thoughtful. The location can't be beat"
