"Everyone was very kind and helpful. Loved that it was so close to town. The only downsize is that pulling into the property is a little inconspicuous. "

"Great staff, easy check in, great location. Very easy walk to the beach. We got there early, our room wasn't ready so we walked across the street and borrowed two bikes from the sister hotel. Rode the bikes along the beach until it was time to check in. We had the junior suite and it's pretty much a full apartment. Happy hour is a sweet touch."

"First night fire alarm went off at 12:30 am and then again around 7 am. One of the two rooms we had did not have a closet. We had to hang our clothes on one of those mobile racks like the ones you use when bringing your luggage to your room. It, the folding rack to lay an open luggage on and the flimsy ironing board was always in the way. Headboard in one bed squeaked every time you moved. "

"Old. Dated. It smelled and I could hear anybody that was above me"

"This hotel is great for its proximity to the beach, museums, the zoo, and restaurants. Lots to do in such a small area. We come up every spring break and stay at different hotels each time. This one is value for your buck! With 3 littles we need budget friendly. While there are more luxury places around the rooms were spacious and clean. A small breakfast is offered, yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, pastries, apples and bananas. Coffee, orange juice, and apple juice.There are no microwaves in the room but you can request one. (We just went to the breakfast area and used that one). Pool area is small and clean and they provide pool towels. Staff was friendly and helpful, any extra items like pillows, towels etc came quick. Definitely will be on our list to keep in our rotation when visiting Santa Barbara!"
