"Front desk man was the most melancholy person I have ever experienced at a hotel. Not helpful or even engaging. Every time we walked by he was on his phone and looked like he hated life. Our room was directly above the entrance to the hotel, so we heard the door slamming constantly. I mentioned it to said front desk man the morning we checked out, to which he replied, “Oh really?” Not an apology or how can we make this better. You literally have to be deaf to not know that door is slamming and needs to be fixed. Just a total brush off. The creamer was consistently gone at the coffee area. Very disappointing stay.
On the positive side: The bed was super comfortable. The parking lot behind the hotel was convenient, and the hotel’s complementary breakfast at Rubies down the street was delicious.
However, I can’t recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again."
