Top Eastern Sierra Hotel Reviews
Juniper Springs Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place, summer stay in an area with lots of activities. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would help in dealing with the unusual heat we experienced. Toilet paper and tissue did not match the quality of the hotel - upgrade needed"
Mammoth Mountain Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Room was adequate. Clean and with good amenities."
Lake View Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"You can definitely hear people above if you’re on the ground level"
The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park
10/10 Excellent
"Great place. Great location."
Austria Hof Lodge
8/10 Good
"The Austria Hof is very close to one of the lifts at Mammoth, so I would assume that this is a prime location to stay in the winter time. We stayed in the summer. It's quite a nice property with ample parking, but be aware that there is no elevator/lift available. There are steep stairs to climb up to the lobby level. My friend and I were assigned very nice rooms on the third floor up even steeper, winding stairs. One of the reception staff very kindly helped me with one of my bags, as I was having issues with the altitude of over 9000 feet, plus my knees decided to be difficult that day. I was ok leaving the next morning, but it was a real slog (for me) to get my gear up to my room. I believe that there are lockers on the lobby level to hold skis, poles, boots, etc. Reception staff are all very kind and helpful. Kudos to them for their assistance and understanding. We ate dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor, where, again staff were very gracious and super helpful. We enjoyed our meal and wine. Can recommend. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Summer room rates make this place a great deal. Location is fine, albeit higher up the mountain and not as close to the shops and some of the restaurants in what I consider to be the "downtown" (at a lower altitude and not as close to the ski lifts/runs) of Mammoth."
The Village Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"David at the front desk was really nice and helpful , we loved this place amazing amenities!!"
Tamarack Lodge and Resort
8/10 Good
"Cabin is of course quite old, and it had the most fluffy linens and bed with comforter - well exceeded expectations. The floor, although updated with vinyl floor planking, felt squishy and unstable and uneven. The entire subfloor needs replacing. It was a darling cabin."
