Peets coffee was pretty terrible, the coffee pods in the room were better quality. Rooms: Dated, slight must odor, but clean and comfortable. Proximity to highlights: Can’t be beat! Worth the minor things that are the reason for the 3-stars. "

"Iconic national park hotel in a stunning setting. It's very beautiful and well maintained. Expect smaller rooms, given the age of the hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The mattress and towels could be better (compared to a similar hotel like the Mission Inn.) Light sleepers might not like the loud air conditioning, which really can't be controlled in-room. Great pool area, pretty but so-so fitness room. Pro tip on the nice sauna: start the timer before your work-out so it will be somewhat hot by the time you're ready. Nice bar and restaurant area adjacent to the lobby/lounge areas. Pretty good food and drinks, not outrageously priced considering location. Great service from all the staff. Worth the money to stay here."
