"I had high hopes for this hotel and was highly disappointed. I booked a queen room, oceanfront through expedia that showed the room had a jacuzzi tub along with a private hot tub. On arrival the room we received did not have a private hot tub. I brought it to the hotel manager's attention and was told, Oh expedia must have an inaccurate description of the room, there is no private hot tub in the room we have for you. I asked if they could upgrade our room then to a king size bed, the manager said no unfortunately the hotel was fully booked however on their website it still showed they had king sized rooms available. Also, I called prior to my arrival to ensure the hotel pools would all be open and working for as their seasonal pools state they are open memorial day weekend. The guy I spoke with on the phone said yes, their children and outdoor pool along with their indoor pool would be open weather permitting. Sunday the weather cleared up and they opened the adult outdoor pool. I asked why they weren't opening the children's pool, mostly why I booked this hotel for my 9 year old autistic son and 2 year old to play in the pool. The guy looked at me, laughed and said oh there are mechanical problems with that pool, it won't open until next week. I wish we would have been told prior to booking. I asked what the hotel could do to make up for it, they gave me 1 free coffee..what a joke. The indoor pool had so much cholrine, was overcrowded and was burning hot. Horrible Weekend!"
