"I own a pest control business. Asked front desk (as I always do) to put me far away from any known rooms to have them. She advised there was none. I checked, and she wasnt lying. Clean rooms, friendly staff, no bedbugs. 5* in ny eyes."

"The location is fantastic. The place is old and not perfect by any means. It has beds, a bathroom and a sink. The bathroom door was held closed by a piece of wood, the ac worked well, the blankets were thin and scratchy, their was a microwave.... that wasn't plugged in or even close to a plug in, outlets were ripped out of the wall, it did have a micro fridge that worked. But for the price it was okay."

"We had a great one night stay after visiting Cumberland Gap National historic area. Our family of 6 stayed in one of the cottages. Cottage was was very clean and updated but did smell a little musty. We had dinner at the lodge while enjoying the view and swam in the pool. We brought our own food for breakfast which we were able to cook in the cottage. Then we checked out and drove up to the top of the mountain amd hiked to chained rock. Its all downhill on the way there but not too far (half of a mile). Overall it was a great stop on our Kentucky vacation."

"The room was very clean, the rates were great, loved the AC because the fan stayed on all the time. The issues I had were: 1) when I went in the locked front door there was an open backdoor. Not just unlocked but open. That scared me. It went to some hallway. I checked the room and the shower because I didn't know if someone could have come in. 2) the water in the shower never got hot. Besides that the place was great."
