"Always good to stay at The Victoria. Affordable price and very convenient location. If you can get a room away from the street it'll help with night noise from late night revellers, garbage trucks and the like. Allow plenty of time to navigate the TV. Impossible to get free to air."

"Hotel is in an ideal spot with the Cavill Ave tram stop just meters down the road. Staff are fantastic and we were always well looked after. Fridays and Saturday nights can be a little bit noisy but that’s something you need to expect when you are right by Surfers Paradise beach. Breakfast was well worth it and was always fresh."

"When we arrived we were very disappointed to learn there was a building site next door and our balcony was practically over looking it. We were not informed about this prior to our stay, unless we would have not booked here. The day we arrived the weather was very windy and the patio doors on our ocean view room were banging. We were bitterly disappointed but once we spoke to Bernice on reception we couldn’t fault the excellent customer service we received. She upgraded us to a fabulous suite which was furthest away from the building site. She provided us with a bottle of fizz and tokens for complementary drinks from the bar. The suite was beautiful with separate living room/kitchen, bedroom, large bathroom with a bath separate shower and two toilets. Dyson hairdryer was standard. The pool area is quite small and some beds have limited hours of sun. The pool bar staff are lovely and friendly. We were self catering so unable to comment on breakfast but the hotel is only a 5 minutes walk to the beach and there are plenty of beach front places to eat. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location and amazing customer service from Bernice. Thank you!"
