Eastern Arkansas hotel rooms a the Pyramid Hotels

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property however, was the bottom of the barrel. I've stayed at several Hollywood Casinos, although 10 years or so, never has a property been this rundown. 8 floors, 1 ice machine. The beds were comfortable, but mine had a broken spring right where you would sit on the side, so sliding off the side is the only way to sit. Talked to several, 4 inches of water standing in shower was common. No remote for tv, brought one, lasted for 2 tries, batteries dead. Left on all day till we got one that evening to turn off. Phone sitting on nightstand, but nothing connected. Lights didn't work. This list goes on and on. I'd say the investors are pocketing profits, if any, and running this hotel in the ground. Machines pay very little. What I lost here, I won back at Goldstrike. I'll never stay here again. It was cheaper, but it was cheap all the way around. No food, other than a vending machine. Weekend restaurant but didn't see anyone in there. One microwave near vending machines, for 500 rooms. Didn't see anyone using, probably didn't work, like everything else."

"1 elevator worked. they opened the service elevator which apparently can only stop on certain floors or else it gets stuck, the lights in the rooms are so low you may as well be blind. i didnt receive checkin instructions til an hour before time ( with the wrong days listed on it) despite a text saying i would receive said instructions to precheckin 3 days in advance. the area around was so safe that not even the ihop had customers. if i thought a charge back would work i would consider it. this place was bad"

"The lady at the front desk her name was Andrea was really helpful and courteous the condition of the hotel was all right besides the door had a big gap at the bottom of it. It made for lots of noise from the freeway The neighbors the restaurant next door made it difficult to sleep but all in all I guess for a stay where we were wasn't so bad"
