"Was awakened by the security guard banging on our neighbors door over and over saying open up open up then there was an alarm that kept going off over and over and over it smelt like cigarette smoke. It was fairly clean, but it had a little bit of damage to the room, my son went out to get in the hot tub, and there was no one out there, and he was told to leave. There was no signage saying the hours of the hot tub since we were awake so early he decided to go get in the hot tub about 8 o’clock in the morning. The security guard came down and said you gotta get out the hot tub doesn’t open till nine, but there was no signage. It was a terrible experience."
"Hotel was clean, staff was nice. We stopped here on a road trip; 8 hotels in 9 days. This hotel was the nicest. Breakfast was pretty good as well, especially for a "free breakfast" place. If I end up back in the area, I'd stay here again."
"Loved our stay! The property is under a huge renovation. We had a couple very minor issues. The maintenance guy was on top of it. I can't even imagine how busy he must be with all the work being completed. But when we had a little issue, he was right there to take care of it!
The lobby is clean and very nice. Our room was very clean, comfy bed, great shower, nice towels, and new furniture
It was bit noisy at night, you could hear the neighbors tv throgh the wall. (you cant fix that, its a hotel) Also, they need the tall toilets. lol The shower/toilet area is extremely small but it works. Breakfast was great! Looking forward to our next extended stay. We will be back. Thank yoi."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tulsa Airpt / Expo Square
2/10 Terrible
"The place was nicer than others in the area but still not great. We were given keys to a room and when we got there we were greeted by a man in only his underwear speaking Spanish to us. We quickly left and stayed somewhere nicer. Do not stay here!!!"
"Really enjoyed my 2-night stay here. Check-in guy was great. Place looked safe and clean. Several food options right across the parking lot, and several other hotels basically sharing the space, so felt like it was a popular place with visitors.
Safety is always key. I was smoking at the time, which made for some people watching outside. There's foot traffic and the cops were thick on a Friday night, but I asked the front-desk gal and she said she's not had any issues in two years. I certainly never felt safe walking to and fro after dark.
Cleanliness was great. Bathroom was really small, almost comically, but I'm relatively thin so the toilet situation was plausible. Good hot water and pressure in the shower. Wi-fi was excellent. Good selection of TV channels even if the TV remote situation was my only real complaint.
The two big perks: you've got several dining options basically across the parking lot if you're into chains. There's also a great Mediterranean place (Bill and Ruth's) if you want non-chain. The location feels a little out of the city, but you're on some main streets to easily get you back into the action.
Then there's the quiet. Big planes are flying overhead. You've got I-44 nearby. I never heard any of it in my room. Barely heard any neighbors. I get around a bit, and this was one of the more quiet rooms I've had. Passable breakfast, friendly staff, good price. I'm very pleased I picked this hotel."
