East Louisville hotel rooms a the Westmont Extended Stay

"I booked this hotel for a quick one night stay with my teenage daughter so that we could attend a concert. It was in between the venue and other activities we wanted to do. The reviews on Expedia were decent and the price was good. I’m not sure how this establishment had any good reviews. It was by far the worst hotel stay I have experienced. The room was so dirty that I am sure nothing had been changed or cleaned before the room was turned over to us. The bathtub had what seemed like a half inch of soap scum in it, there were burn holes in the light blanket that they considered a comforter on my bed, which was also covered in some kind of dirt, and I didn’t want to walk on the floor without socks. We did not use the shower. I didn’t complain in person, because when we got to the hotel after 3 PM, we were told that our room was not ready and we had to wait until four AFTER I stood there listening to staff talk in the back room for over 10 min. Check-in was at three. We had to quickly change and go to dinner before we went to the concert. When we returned, it was midnight and the front office was closed. It was also closed in the morning when I tried to check out before 10 AM. The room smelled like chemicals and a bottle of spray paint was sitting on the air conditioner outside our room as if they patched something before we used it. I didn’t feel safe there. When we returned from the concert there were 3 cop cars justifying my feelings."

"Clean and comfortable. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Nice bar and a very good restaurant. Staff was very professional at all levels. Minor complaint is that the room had things like towels, coffee pot, tissues, etc. . . all stored on bottom shelves just above ground level. I am tall, 6 ft 1. It was difficult to bend down and figure out where everything was and how to make a cup of coffee. I did not like this design. Also, no spare blankets. Otherwise, very nice hotel."

"Room, staff, property were perfect. The bed was Amazing!! I slept so good ( I never do at a hotel). Only thing lacking was a good breakfast… they did have it… but most was gone within the first hour it started & after waiting several minutes… we just left & went elsewhere. There is a Cracker Barrel next door & always amazing. Very safe area to walk to."
