"Our room was gorgeous and light-filled, with large windows on two sides - the nicest and brightest room we've ever had at this beautiful historic hotel. Our room was spotless and the amenities were lovely (I always appreciate a hotel that provides bathrobes and where the showers are modern). The staff was excellent - we got there at a busy time when the Louisville Ballet matinee had just gotten out, but they still took care of everyone and were attentive and kind. We had room service breakfast this morning, which was a treat, and Doug on the bell staff brought a luggage cart, loaded our bags into the car, and was chatty and charming. The Brown Hotel is such a quintessential Kentucky charm experience. We've stayed here before, and will again."
