"A good location for our short overnight trip. We arrived after 10pm which was fine. Staff on the desk were practical but not super welcoming. It was a hot day and we had our dog with us. When we got to our room it was absolutely stifling and there was no way we could stay in the room with him. So we requested a room change (Note there is no air con in the hotel! The receptionist seemed a bit overwhelmed but did a good job of finding a much cooler ground floor room which was absolutely fine apart from the fact that the shower and sink only ran hot water and very hot water! Tbf we knew that but just wanted a much cooler room. Room was nicely set out and comfortable. As hotel it looks nice and rooms are nice but the lack of air con and staff on the desk not quite on the case are the main reasons for the lower score. We would visit again as it was a good price. We didn’t have breakfast."
