"My room was clean and spacious. The air conditioner kept the room warm and comfortable. The views and privacy were great and the receptionist was helpful and polite.
I would recommend the Emerald Hotel as a great place to stay while visiting the Gisborne area."

"The Stay was excellent and so was the sea view
The rooms were large, clean and tidy and when the lounge door was fully opened it was like having a deck. The lady who checked my wife and I in provided excellent service
From our point of view the motel was excellent in all regards
If I had one SMALL complaint it would be that the parking spaces were not numbered and allocated on a per room basis

"This is a nice modern motel to stay at. It has a road on both sides but we did not hear the road noise. We always stay in the upstairs units, but you have to carry your bags up the stairs. Parking is on site with a lot of room to get into your car park."
