"The "best" hotel in Pontiac. Parking is easy, lobby nice and area around it is clean. Wally's giant gas station complex is a short walk away as is Walmart. The room was clean and cool. Beds were very noisy/creaky and mattress soft and lumpy. Hot water took about 5 minutes to heat up and water pressure was non-existent in shower and sink. All is all, if you have to stay in Pontiac overnight, this is the best place (in my experience after having stayed at two other hotels). Friendly and helpful staff made the difference."

"Room was c;lean, but hallways were very dirty. Looked like they hadn't been swept since last winter. There is no elevator, so had to climb the stairs. We were offered a first floor room, but opted for the second floor room because they are usually quieter. Breakfast was typical. Room had been recently updated except for the tub."

"Easy stop along freeway and Route 66. Close to town with a few sites to check out. Some food options close, several fuel stations/travel centers. Basic room, not fancy, but what you expect at the chain."
