Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

8/10 Good
"We enjoyed a generally pleasant stay at Riu Palace. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food offered both good quality and a satisfying variety. The beach itself is attractive and easy to access, though it is relatively small for a property of this size. That limited beach area creates a noticeable shortage of palapas, which means guests need to wake up around 6 a.m. to secure one - a significant inconvenience. The consistently windy conditions also reduce the availability of water‑sport activities. In addition, the elevators in the hotel buildings are slow enough to become frustrating, and the nightly entertainment felt more like an underwhelming school performance than a professional show."

"We really liked that all rooms were oceanfront although most buildings you can’t access the beach, not a deal breaker for me but it’s unusual. I do want to say the service was excellent and the food was very good. The location of the resort was off the main strip again not a deal breaker ,only a 5 minute drive to downtown which was good and a 15 minute taxi to the High rise section it,the taxi fares added up after a while. We suggest eating at El Gaucho Argentine steakhouse downtown delicious steak. We did do a tour of the island which is a must. The island is so beautiful with a lot of history.Overall we both loved our first visit to the island and will definitely be going back."
