"We stayed in a Double room (Point of View) at Düsternbrook and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the incredible view at the pool and our room & deck. The staff are all kind, helpful and happy to answer all questions. Whilst driving to the lodge we already spotted heaps of animals like giraffes, warthogs, all kind of birds, baboons, Kudus, springboks etc., so driving slowly pays off. "Our stay was fine. The pool is the best part. The staff were lovely as well, if not perhaps enough of them. Dinner seemed overpriced for what we got. The night was cold (to be expected), therefore the tent got cold (to be expected), and one of our bed heaters wasn’t working (unfortunate). Lots of neighbourhood dogs barking throughout the night; a bit hard to sleep. It was fine for a night but I wouldn’t stay again. "
