Loved it

Great hotel, clean and well managed. The staff are very helpful and friendly. This part of town isn’t the nicest but we experience no problems at all. Simple easy walk into the old town roughly 1.5 miles.

Great value, great location.

Amazing friendly staff, nice location. I had 2 nights in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and that was loud and smelled of the cigarettes people were smoking on the street right below but then I was changed to the cutest little room at the top floor. It had a view and was renovated. It was much smaller but much nicer. I am sure that it must get very hot when the weather gets up there as there is no AC, only fans.

Soooo hot

Stayed for 3 nights during the Euros tournament, prices are inflated as everywhere is in high demand. Worked out around £50 per person per night which isn’t too bad. Staff are excellent and all seem to speak very good English to make up for my limited German. Breakfast was nice each morning. Had to rush out on my final morning as my afternoon flight got cancelled so I needed a much earlier flight but breakfast was still out and the lady in charge was still friendly and had everything available for us. The room itself was fine, I booked a double but on closer inspection it stated a double with twin beds, not sure how that works. As it happens, you wouldn’t want a double in the heat as it was hotter than hell hence my 3* score. Even with a small fan and the window open, it was incredibly hot. Made sleeping difficult. Bathroom was a good size and shower was decent. 10 minute walk to the main train station and easily accessible for the airport, city centre and other cities.

Good standard of hotel, in line with most German standards. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a decent selection and some nice variations. My only comment is that city hotels will need aircon if climate change gets any more. The room was too hot and it's undesirable to open the window by a busy street. Overall though a good value stay, near to transport options for the city.

Excellent breakfast in a neighbourhood...

The room was bigger thsn expected. Elevator stops between the floors so you need to go down or up a few steps. Clean room, bathroom and fresh towels. Breakfast buffet was really excellent. The neighbourhood seems to be trafficked by drug addicts late evenings and night. I would not walk alone then.

Elevator was only up to #3, then there several steps, maybe 10 to drag all you luggage up, rooms from 400-500 showed up very confusing. No air conditioning, staff not very helpful or friendly, actually kind odd condescending, I would not recommend, also Hotel in a ver dark street, I did not feel safe there
