Very friendly staff. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfastbuffet is one of the most extensive ones I have ever had at a hotel. Only negative point of our stay was that the lock on our door wasn't functioning properly and we had trouble opening and closing the door. A nice lady from the housekeeping staff helped us enter again when the doorlock showed a green light but it still did not unlock. Düsseldorf center is easily reachable by bike or public transport.

About every five years, I make the same mistake, going to an IHG in Europe. Good choice in third world countries, but just too many notches below the standard in Europe. Not even the breakfast was up to American standards.
