"The location was great, both for views and for convenience. The facilities were good, onsite parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all, our hostess Noreen was cordial, helpful and kind. She wrote out directions to the national park, answered our questions, and had cookies ready for our arrival. "For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. "Beautiful BnB. Room was imaculate, Noreen couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast was fantastic as well, we ate breakfast in the conservatory looking out at the sea view which I could have sat and looked at all day. Port Arthur beach is a straight 5min drive 15min walk away, beautiful spot to sit on the beach or get in the water and not very busy so plenty of room. Plenty to do within driving distance and the food options in the area were great. If you do geocaching there are some great cache locations that have amazing views in the area that bring you to some hidden historical/foclore spots too."
