"This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The bathroom had what appeared to be blood smeared across the door, there were yellow droplets on the ceiling that might have been mold, the backsplash hadn't been cleaned in several guests by the amount of toothpaste splatter. The room itself was ok, except for the dead bugs by the window, peeling paint chips all over the floor. When we went up to the restaurant to try to have lunch, we were told by 2 different staff the food would take at least 45 minutes to come out as a deterrent for us to stay. So we never tried the restaurant, the front desk never had anyone at it. Oh and the location, right in the middle of the worst part of Duluth, and the contact high you get from all the pot being smoked in the parking area was also not great! This was probably a beautiful hotel 30 years ago, but it doesn't appear to have been updated in at least that long."

"Bedding was not changed. Had hairs on the sheet. Room was stinky. Definitely not coming back here. "

"Breakfast was good, warm and several options. Hot tub was warm/not hot. Water seemed murky in hot tub and pool. Hotel in general seems tired, could use some updating. The beds were extremely comfortable so that was a win! "

"Old and out dated, but knew that before, some things broken. No extra amenities. Location and feeling of security a little sketch. Dark parking area behind hotel with suspicious looking characters hanging out in vehicles. Unsecured access to building. However, the walls were solid, beds comfy and shower hot. Quiet other than the occasional hot rod ripping down the road in front "

"The room was very ample and inviting. It looked like there was a new shower and toilet recently installed. There are a lot of renovations going on including new paint and lots of refreshing. The lobby was cute and the breakfast was adequate. The staff was very friendly. Very nice pool and hot tub too. We will definitely stay here again."
