We were so impressed by the thoughtful touches at Aulton Stables, including fresh fruit, milk, bread, eggs and chocolates on arrival. "When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "

"Was a little taken aback by the daily £5 fee for parking as this had not been mentioned by Expedia at booking time. The night receptionist was very helpful indeed as we arrived very late from the concert. The stock of goodies at reception could be revised so that there is something a little more substantial than pot noodles for late arrivals. Room was fine though the quirky glasswork as the bathroom entrance is nuts. All in all a decent place to stay."
