Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago
Everything was great except even if you request a non smoking room/floor it still smells of smoke. I understand it’s a casino hotel so I did overlook this for the most part.

FairBridge Inn Express Merrillville
Had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. Notified attendant at the front desk, she gladly reset the router and all was well. I have no complaints. This was reasonably priced for a no frills motel.

The Neighborhood Hotel - Grand Beach
This place is super cute, but I think it's probably better for big groups traveling together because it was very loud. We could hear people very late at night in the outdoor and indoor common areas and hallways.
