"We had a really lovely room, entrance to the hotel is very grand, and lounge ahead is stunning. Some aspects of the hotel are dated- the dining room is very old fashioned but makes you feel a part of that time. The waiting staff let the place down a bit- lacking a bit of polish."

"We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite .
