"Beautiful modern (but charming) hotel in the center of the city. The room with 2 beds was absolutely gorgeous and had even a little private outside sitting area. The bathroom was the star of the room (all black with an open shower) they provided all of the bathroom amenities (body lotion, wash, shampoo…). Breakfast was 5 stars (cold and warm). Check in was fastest I ever seen. If we would not have book somewhere to sleep the next day, we would have stay an another night."
"Elegant old hotel, high level of service. Breakfasts were wonderful with lots of options. We were on the first floor so view was good but I’m sure upper floors have amazing views.
We had a noise issue, with an old radiator that needed to be bled on occasion or it made a loud jackhammer sound in the wall of our room. Happened twice, once early in the morning. Staff took care of it promptly but it was annoying. But it is a very old place."
"We had a lovely stay at the Park hotel, well located only a 2 min walk from the town.
Food for both breakfast and dinner was good. Staff were attentive.
The swimming pool is nice and well heated. The setting with walk ways to the water edge was excellent.
Our room while no major complaints perhaps did not live up to expectations of other 5 star hotels we have stayed in the past but was fine. We had specifically picked the hotel for a family room with bunk beds but had a room with a pull out bed instead for children which was fine as they were small but would not be suitable for older children."
"We really enjoyed our stay at Casey’s. The room was clean and cozy, the staff were friendly and the restaurant had delicious food. We would definitely stay there again"
"The location of Misty Bay is fantastic. It’s extremely quiet and the views are gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate. Phil, our host, was most welcoming. Our room was beautiful, the linens were pristine and our bathroom was modern with even a heated towel rack. There is an upstairs TV lounge, and down the hall from our bedroom was a wonderfully equipped kitchen - microwave, air fryer, cappuccino maker, toaster, fridge, kettle- teas, coffee, biscuits, cartons of water and milk in the fridge. We couldn’t have found a better place for our stay. We highly recommend it! Thank you Phil and Misty Bay - Kenmare."
"Very friendly staff, were able to accommodate us well and provided us with helpful dinner suggestions. Very cute town and the property fits the vibe well."
