"Clean and quick check in process. Parking was conveniently located. Great location close to canal. Don’t eat breakfast upstairs terrible service. It’s scan QR code and order. Waitress only one was very stressed and talking about other customers. I waited 35 minutes for my coffee and water glass. My husband waited 60 minutes for food. "

"The Canal Park Lodge is very charming! The decor is very warm and inviting. We had a lake view on third floor and it was just beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. We enjoyed walking along the lake front. The aerial bridge that is walking distance from the hotel was an interesting site. We got to watch the bridge be raised for a barge that came through after midnight. That was a fun experience! I visited in early May 2026 with my two adult kids. We had a wonderful time."

"We had a terrible stay. No one knows how to answer a question correctly and people just point to each other until you’re annoyed enough to call corporate. Then corporate says there should be on site manager. Never heard of it the whole time were there. We were charged TWICE for our stay and no one can tell us why or advise on how to help. We will obviously be calling our bank, but the disregard, gaslighting, and unprofessionalism has stained our family vacation. Have the day you deserve."

"Booked a stay on Saturday night, check in staff were great and got us an early check in. However, the room is outdated, furnace only blows cold air and was incredibly noisy. The shower was absolutely terrible with very poor water pressure. The window has a draft making the room cold. The checkout staff did not bother to even ask how the stay was. There was also a shooting right outside the hotel making me question the safety of the area. Will most likely not be staying here again, for $360USD I expected a lot better of a stay."
