"The pool was ok. Super overcrowded since it was the only pool that <21 years old could go to. They are building a waterpark and removed the other pool in prep for that waterpark. They could do a better job cleaning the pool.
They had two different people playing music at the pool while we were there. We preferred the DJ over Will the guitar guy. DJ played a better variety of music and took requests from the kids/crowd.
Bingo at the pool was a nice touch.
All staff encountered were very professional and nice.
We stayed in a villa and it was 0.4 mile walk from the front door to the pool. We discovered the bike rental the first day and honestly, just kept them at our villa the whole week. We were probably supposed to return them but it was nice to have to get around the resort grounds. You’ll get lots of steps in otherwise! Not a bad thing.
Food at the restaurants within the resort was pretty good. Please do yourself a favor and dine at Salt and Ash and order the potatoes with fresh truffle shavings. Delicious!!"
"Was nervous since there was mixed reviews but glad we took a chance….and we are picky☺️The property was very clean and well maintained and really cared about making their guests happy! My teens loved the cay and renting the paddle boards! So much for families to do. Will def be back! "
"We stayed in the green cottage (didn't take photos of inside). Location is fabulous and sunrises are beautiful. Room was clean upon arrival. However, it did not look as nice as the website. Bathroom was very small. Little counter top space and no tub (we didn't care about that). Bedroom smaller too. We stayed four nights and elected to not have our room cleaned on one day. However, it was not cleaned on the other days even though staff said it was on the list. The Tiki Bar does not serve alcohol. We had to order our drinks at the sister resort, Amara Cay and have them delivered. Not sure if we missed that on the website, but definitely disappointed. Enjoyed drinks and apps at the Amara Cay Tiki Bar."
"Location is good, property hasn't been updated at all, falling apart. Sheets were clean but looks like the floor had not been cleaned in months. Literal piles of dirt, hair and trash against the walls and in the corners, I did not feel comfortable walking barefoot. Bathroom was disgusting. No mirror, no microwave, no coffee maker, absolutely bare bones felt more like a hostel. Zero soundproofing from neighboring rooms."
