Hotel Julien Dubuque

Hotel Julien Dubuque

8/10 Good
"Loved the building itself and the beautiful lobby, great location too. We did have trouble adjusting the air conditioning but overall very nice room. Our complaint was the Caroline restaurant in the hotel. The air conditioning was set so high and was so cold that we had to eat our food very quickly. There were 7 of us with 3 generations and we were all super cold. We had planned to linger and chat but it was too cold so we ate quickly, paid and left. It was a shame because the food and the service was very good but we went elsewhere for the remainder of our stay."

Grand Harbor Resort

Grand Harbor Resort

8/10 Good
"The resort is ideally located. Short walk to casino, museum and restaurants. The river walk was great Had a good dinner at Tony Roma's and enjoyed the music on the terrace. Swimming pool was closed and there were small kids allowed in the hot tub. Breakfast was so-so....no muffins or rolls? Need two pancake machines...."
