"We appreciated the uniqueness of the hotel and the quiet area. It was super easy to get to Dublin city center by bus or a short walk to the train. The staff was very friendly and we even got a tour and some history of the hotel."

"The hotel is within walking distance of much of downtown Dublin. Trinity College is a few blocks away, as is the Temple Bar district. Guiness and The Liberties are less than a mile away. The hotel is unique (look for the portraits). Do get the breakfast, it's excellent and will fuel you for a day of walking and sightseeing. The hotel and rooms are very clean (although the rooms, like many in Europe, are fairly tight) and the staff was most helpful. Would book again next time we're in Dublin."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, the city centre is a short walk away. Breakfast is fantastic. Lots of choice and fills you for the day ahead. Super comfortable king sized bed and the room was well laid out. My only complaint is that the bathroom needs some modernization. The extractor fan doesn't extract well while you shower or take a bath leaving the entire bathroom very steamed up and slippery. Some of the tiles need to be regrouted as they are showing their age and wear. Overall, very happy with our stay and it is our go to hotel when visiting Dublin."
