Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was really good, lots of options on the buffet. Everything was really tasty"

Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Had a lovely room overlooking the runway with a Balcony and as it was a lovely sunny day it was great to sit out and enjoy a pint of Guinness and read a book. A very relaxing way to start a holiday. Don’t forget to book the shuttle to the airport though, I didn’t like the fact the driver made a 10 year old child remover her seat belt and give up her seat and have to sit on her mums lap, other passengers did not have their seatbelts on. Being a drive from the hotel to the airport I was shocked that this was allowed to happen to accommodate those that had not booked seats. It’s clear when checking in that you need to book and the staff ask you if you need to book the shuttle or need a wake up call. I felt my safety was compromised although my seat belt was done up but in the event of an accident I would have been injured far more by loose, unbelted passengers. It was clear to the driver passengers were not strapped in due to the persistent warning beep that went on all the way to the airport. Quite unfair and an unnecessary risk. The driver who took me from the airport to the hotel was very strict thankfully and would not leave until every passenger had their seatbelts belt on."

Staycity Aparthotels, Dublin, City Centre

"Convenient location!"

Iveagh Garden Hotel
4/10 Poor
"I stayed in a pod room which I DO NOT recommend. They are in the basement with one window by the ceiling that opens onto the street. Despite cool weather, the room was swelteringly hot. NO air condiotioning. A fan, but in a concrete cell with no ventilation, it just moved the hot air around. The window to the street opens and there is a safety, but could easily be broken into. The window cover is a sliding wooden panel. So, if you leave it open for the air from the window, anyone can look right onto the bed which is built into the wall by the street, plus then light shines through. Completely overpriced for what you get. I liked the cozy size, but couldn't sleep and was roasting. I spoke to many people staying in other rooms and everyone complained about the heat in the building.
Harcourt Street is the clubbing street, so be prepared for noise."

Arlington Hotel O'Connell Bridge
10/10 Excellent
"Couldn't ask for a better location and place to stay in Dublin than The Arlington! Exceeded expectations. Central location easy to get to from airport or train via bus service. Helpful friendly front desk staff (helped with bags on arrival, gave directions when needed, even went out of their way to help us get a load of laundry done), spacious room, amazing food to be found in every direction. Two thumbs up!"

Clayton Hotel Burlington Road
8/10 Good
"Great location , easy check in , clean comfortable room, good breakfast with good selection and nice dining room.
Overall good but I’d have preferred not to have payed for parking.
A bit unfair to charge residents in my opinion."
